• I’m pivoting The Lobro Show’s content lease strategy

I’ve been grappling with how to release my show: with or without music and where. It became confusing doing an edit for Twitch and YouTube, an edit for members, and and two audio edits for release (one for members and one for public). I’ve been juggling multiple file types and versions. Ironically, over complicating the release this way does not embody the spirit of the show.

From now on, I’m going to treat Twitch as if it’s an ephemeral live performance. It stays that way and the live recording won’t go anywhere else (including YouTube).

Going forward, YouTube and Spotify will receive the full music-free episodes that members get. Having one final video edit that is released to everyone makes my job easier, makes my content more consistent, and makes my content more available to more people.

This means I’ll be releasing these videos to YouTube this week and removing the live recordings. This way, we have one final episode edit that everyone sees and hears.

If you feel as though your membership has lost its value, please contact me for a complete refund. Tha being said, all the members I've talked to have been on board with this.

Lobro Watch members still have many benefits that aren't available elsewhere like the high quality audio RSS feed. If you have ideas on things you'd like to see as a member, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    Ride the wave!
