Hey all! For those who don't know, I have Crohn's disease. I recently switched the medication I take and I've been in a lot of pain. This is why I've been taking time off to rest. The show is not dead. I have tons of content planned. It's very much alive and returning as Glow with Lobro very soon.

I'm about to go live in an hour to announce the new show name: Glow with Lobro.

As you know, I haven't recorded any new episodes in a few weeks. I've been recovering from a change in my medicine for Crohn's disease. During that time, I had a lot of time to consider the overall vision of the show.

So, why the change?

Simply put: this show has never been about me. The name "The Lobro Show" is short and memorably but the fact that it implies the show is about me has always bothered me. I understand there are lots of shows named in a similar fashion that aren't about that person at all, but it still bothered me enough to invest the time and money into changing the name.

Glow with Lobro allows this show to grow into a thing that maybe won't always be "with Lobro." I don't know yet what the future holds. This show is as much yours as it is mine.

Won't you come glow with me?

Every ghost story begins the same way: something that should have moved on but didn’t.

All of your unfinished ideas, promises to yourself, and dreams of the future that you keep avoiding.

In this episode, we explore how unlived potential is like being haunted. Drawing from the Ziegarnik Effect and the yogic idea of samskara, we discuss how incomplete actions loop in the mind until they are either lived out or released.

With insights from Greg McKeown, James Clear, Stephen Pressfield, Viktor Frankl, and the Stoics, this reflection reminds us that action is the antidote to anxiety and that motion frees the spirit from its ghosts.

Your invitation: Name that ghost. Write down the project, the dream, or the responsibility that keeps revisiting you. Then take one small step toward it, even if that step is only a decision.

“Do not ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it.” – Howard Thurman

The parts of you that remain unlived are not dead. They are unexpressed potential waiting for you to seize them.

I’ve been grappling with how to release my show: with or without music and where. It became confusing doing an edit for Twitch and YouTube, an edit for members, and and two audio edits for release (one for members and one for public). I’ve been juggling multiple file types and versions. Ironically, over complicating the release this way does not embody the spirit of the show.

From now on, I’m going to treat Twitch as if it’s an ephemeral live performance. It stays that way and the live recording won’t go anywhere else (including YouTube).

Going forward, YouTube and Spotify will receive the full music-free episodes that members get. Having one final video edit that is released to everyone makes my job easier, makes my content more consistent, and makes my content more available to more people.

This means I’ll be releasing these videos to YouTube this week and removing the live recordings. This way, we have one final episode edit that everyone sees and hears.

If you feel as though your membership has lost its value, please contact me for a complete refund. Tha being said, all the members I've talked to have been on board with this.

Lobro Watch members still have many benefits that aren't available elsewhere like the high quality audio RSS feed. If you have ideas on things you'd like to see as a member, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Ride the wave!

Awareness doesn’t always feel like awakening... it can drag you under before it sets you free.

When awareness pulls like an undertow, it isn’t punishment; it’s responsibility calling you back to what matters. In this episode, Lobro explores how showing up anyway becomes the bridge between intention and integrity. Through honest reflection and off-the-cuff storytelling, he turns a morning of resistance into a meditation on devotion, discipline, and grace.

You’ll hear how awareness makes denial expensive, how presence begins before you feel ready, and how openness keeps the heart engaged when inspiration lags. Because the wave always rewards motion, and every time you show up, even unready, you retrain yourself to be ready.
